| For extension of European Patents to Romania and assuming that Romania was designated at EPO and the corresponding fees are paid there are two alternatives: 1. Application for Provisional Protection of the European Patent Application is to be filed within 3 months as from the publication date of the European Patent Application (EP....A1). A published European Patent Application will confer a provisional protection as from the date of publication by Romanian Patent Office of the translation into Romanian language of the European Patent Application claims.
